MANDATORY WORKS OUT OF COMPETITION:


All choirs and individual singers participating in SAN JUAN CANTA must participate in the Closing Concert by performing the following mandatory works:

• George Rathbone: “Rejoice in the Lord always”, for mixed choir and organ. It will be conducted by Tristan Meister (Jury - Germany) accompanied by Federico Ciancio (organ), taking advantage of the magnificent Walker organ at the Juan Victoria Auditorium.

• The final piece will be “Across the Vast, Eternal Sky” by Ola Gjeilo for mixed choir, strings and piano under the direction of T.J. Harper (President of the Jury - USA) with the participation of guest instrumentalists and Federico Ciancio on piano.

These works must be studied in advance, rehearsed beforehand and performed as closing works of SAN JUAN CANTA.
